Jeff Carroll is a true Gemini because he is both an award winning pioneer of the Black speculative fiction movement and a safe sex educator. He is a writer, an award winning filmmaker and a comic book creator. His stories always have lots of action and a social edge. He has written over 15 sci-fi and horror novels and made six movies and more than a dozen comic books and graphic novels. His second film was Gold Digger Killer is celebrated as a Black Classic movie on Tubi. And on the non-fiction side he in known as the activist Yo Jeff the Hip Hop Dating coach and has been called “The Anti-Playa” by the Sun Sentinel. Jeff Carroll is also the author of the non-fiction book The Hip Hop Dating Guide and is a 12th grade English teacher at Hallandale high school.
